Is it too soon to think about graduation?

I know it is a bit early, but with preschool and other school-year-length programs ending this month (yikes!) I have teacher gifts and other end-of-year stuff on the brain. I have been making some tassels with my A Muse Studio baker's twine, and it inspired me to whip up this little graduation card.

I sketched out this graduation cap on the computer, and used my Silhouette SD die cutting machine to cut it out. The tassel is handmade with A Muse Studio bakers twine, and the "12" and "congratulations" are heat embossed with clear embossing powder on the A Muse shimmer cardstock. I love the look of the toffee ink embossed onto the papaya shimmer! The "congratulations", especially, looks like letterpress, and it is so pretty! Here is a close-up, although my photo probably does not do it justice. :)

All products used on the card are from A Muse Studio, except the button on the cap (snagged from my personal stash, but not as cute as the A Muse buttons):
Stamp Sets: Brief Notes, Build a Cake, Chevrons
Cardstocks: Onyx, Vanilla, Papaya Shimmer
Inks: Papaya, Toffee
Embellishments/Accessories: Clear Embossing Powder, Onyx/White Baker's Twine, Black Button, 3D Foam Adhesive, Super-Stick Red Double-Sided Tape, Tombow Tape Runner
