Silhouette Shape of the Week

One of my favorite crafty tools is my Silhouette SD. It is an electronic die-cutter that connects to your computer, and I have made so many fun things with it, and really have barely tested out what it can do! The SD is an older model, the newer ones are the Cameo and the Portrait, and they can be found here.

Silhouette offers a free Shape of the Week, and last week's was a Valentine's card that really inspired me. Here is my take on that free shape of the week:

The heart lattice just shouted for me to make my own glitter paper using A Muse cardstock, Versamark ink, Simple Stick and Cranberry Glitter.

All materials are A Muse Studio unless otherwise indicated:
Cardstock: Sugar, Cherry, Grapefruit
Ink: French Roast, Versamark Watermark Ink
Die Cuts: Silhouette Free Shape of the Week
Embellishments: Simple Stick, 3D Foam Pieces, Cranberry Glitter, Valentine Washi Tape

Of course I couldn't let my extra cuts go to waste, so I made a little quartet of 3x3 mini cards too:

I am still not a great photographer. These cards are actually done on "winter sky" cardstock, a very light icy blue, but they look white in the pic. Either way is good, I think!

Don't forget to sign up for my Valentine classes this month! We'll be making some fun projects. :)
